Persian women (2008)

In the Islamic Republic of Iran, dominance of manhood is still flourishing in spite of modernization. The patriarchal and militant Persian country is trying to open for the world and change in many ways, but the negative discrimination is still alive against woman in most cases. The contemporary Iranian woman tries to suit into the tradition and wants to be progressive, Westerner and secular at the same time. Accepting and preveiling: these are the catchwords.
