Vanity fair (2010)

The Hungarian elite – culture, knowledge, power and money – meets year by year at the Budapest Opera Ball, the decadence universe of precious jewels and luxury tuxedos. This is a big “must-be-there” social event for the distinguished members of the upper-middle class and the jetset, for celebrities, stars and artists, for politicians and businessmen.

And of course this is a “bread&butter”-night for waiters, maids, musicians, bartenders. After midnight the protocol and formality is slowly slipping away thanks to the coctails, the dress code and the etiquette is swapping places with the party feeling and chaotic funtime.
